Jamaica, T&T face off

The semifinals of the 2010 Women’s Centrobasket Championship will take place today in Puerto Rico with Jamaica facing Trinidad and Tobago in the opening game.
That match is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. while hosts Puerto Rico will play Mexico in semi-final two, starting at 8 p.m.
Jamaica finished the preliminary round by defeating Dominican Republic 79-76 last night to finish with a 3-0 record in Group ‘A’.
Nicole Louden netted 33 points, while Simone Edwards had 17 and Vanessa Gidden 15. Jamaica also dominated the rebounds 47-36.
