Murder-suicide in Dallas

Authorities in the US State of Dallas, Texas say the death of the mayor and her daughter might have been a murder suicide.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office yesterday ruled that Jayne Peters, the Mayor of the town of Coppell killed her 19-year-old daughter before turning the weapon on herself.
The mother and daughter were found dead on Tuesday evening by police officers who had gone to their home to check on them.
The officers went to the home at the request of the city manager's office after the mayor did not show up for a scheduled council meeting.
