Trinidad gas reserves drop

There are reports this morning that Trinidad and Tobago's reserves of natural gas have declined further.
A report from the international audit company, Ryder Scott, said the proven reserves have fallen by one trillion cubic feet.
In 2008 they were close to 12 trillion cubic feet but since then there had been no exploration for new supplies.
According to Larry McHalffey from Ryder Scott, persuading companies to invest in the development would be hard.
Trinidad’s energy minister Carolyn Seepersad-Baichan has said the government is developing a tax reduction system to encourage investors to expend the hundreds of millions of dollars needed in investment.
