Foreign affairs authorities in Guyana are to make a complaint to the Trinidad and Tobago government after 15 Guyanese were refused entry to the twin-island republic.
The Guyanese were refused entry despite having documentation, which showed that they had legitimate business there.
Foreign Affairs Minister Carolyn Rodrigues told reporters yesterday that the Bharrateo administration had taken note of the development, and her ministry was trying to determine how many Guyanese had been turned back at Piarco International Airport in recent months.
Ten of the 15 who were denied entry on Monday night reportedly went to Trinidad for job interviews, while the other five went on vacation.
