Haiti presidential hopeful hip hop artiste Wyclef Jean says he wants to change Haiti's constitution to allow dual citizenship.

Jean who has been publicising his plans for Haiti says if elected, he will work to give Haitians living abroad the right to vote.

Currently, Haitians who emigrate can only hold citizenship in one country and must renounce their Haitian citizenship if they become citizens of another.

Those with dual citizenship can't vote or run for office as the constitution considers them foreigners.
