Sunshine Girls whipped again

Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls received a 58-25 hammering from New Zealand in the first of two netball test matches today at the Canterbury Arena in New Zealand.



Romelda Aiken scored most goals for Jamaica with 24 from 29 attempts, while Anna-Kaye Griffiths had 8 from 12 and Vanessa Walker three from five.



Irene van Dyk led the New Zealand to victory with a game high 45 goals from 48 attempts. Maria Tutaia, who had 10 from 14 and Grace Rasmussen with three from six, supported her.



The second and final test will take place on Sunday in Napier



The Jamaicans have now lost four straight test matches, following a 3-0 defeat to top ranked Australia.
