Guyana\'s Opposition Leader Robert Corbin has confirmed receiving a death threat, after he publicly linked a suspected drug lord to the government.
The drug accused, Roger Khan, is reportedly now in a New York jail awaiting trial.
According to BBC Caribbean reports, the Bharrat Jagdeo administration has consistently rejected Mr. Corbin\'s accusations.
The police have released the owner of a popular nightclub, after authorities said the call to Mr. Corbin was made from a phone belonging to the owner.
The man was not charged.
Corbin said he will not be intimidated and will not stop talking about the issue.
