Jamaica college hammers Cumberland high

Forty-two goals were scored on yesterday’s second day of competition in the Manning Cup competition.



Jamaica College secured the biggest victory margin by hammering second-time entrants, Cumberland High 11-0 in a Group ‘A’ match at Old Hope Road. Former national youth representative, Ashani Walker, scored six goals.



The other Group ‘A’ match between Waterford and St Mary’s College was postponed because of a waterlogged field.



In Group C, Charlie Smith hammered St Andrew College 5-0, Innswood defeated Kingston Technical 7-1 and Excelsior whipped Papine 6-1.



In Group E, Wolmer’s Boys hammered Edith Dalton James 8-0 and Spanish Town beat Donald Quarrie 3-0.
