Powell to compete in Trinidad

Jamaican sprint sensation Asafa Powell is among the big names invited to compete at the June 20 to 22 Sagicor National Open Track and Field Championships at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Trinidad.



A report out of Trinidad and Tobago stated that Powell and his MVP teammate, sprint hurdler Brigette Foster Hylton would be on show.



Powell’s Manager Paul Doyle said the deal has still not been signed.



The report out of Trinidad further said Powell would compete against local stars Darrel Brown, Richard Thompson, Marc Burns and Keston Bledm.
