Manning Cup resumes today

Former champions Wolmer’s Boys, Excelsior and Jamaica College will go in search of their second consecutive victories when the 2010 ISSA/Pepsi/Digicel urban area Manning Cup resumes this afternoon.



Wolmer’s will play away to Spanish Town High in a Group ‘E’ game at Spanish Town Prison Oval, Excelsior and St Andrew College will face off at Mico University in a Group ‘C’ fixture, while Jamaica College will travel to St Mary’s College for a Group ‘A’ match.



Wolmer’s began their campaign on Monday by thrashing Edith Dalton James 8-0, Excelsior defeated Papine 6-1 and Jamaica College crushed Cumberland 11-0.



Also in Group ‘C’ today, Kingston Technical will host Calabar at Deanery Road and Papine will face Innswood.



The remaining Group ‘E’ fixtures are Edith Dalton James against Ardenne and St Jago playing Donald Quarrie.



The day will also feature another Group ‘A’ match between Cumberland and Camperdown.



All matches are scheduled to kick off at 3.30 p.m.
