Barbican improve semifinal chances

Reigning champions Barbican improved their chances of qualifying for the semi-finals of the Sherwin Williams Women’s Football League following a 2-0 victory over Trelawny Women in a rescheduled game yesterday.
The match was played at Barbican field.
Alecia Lewis and Kerry-Ann Douglas scored for Barbican, who now moved to 14 points in Zone ‘B’, three behind leaders and already qualified Los Perfectos.
Waterhouse and Portmore Strikers have already secured the top two places from Zone ‘A’.
