ICC to review Samuels’ ban

The ICC is now conducting a review of Marlon Samuels’ two-year ban.
Samuels’ legal team insists that the suspension imposed by the West Indies Cricket Board last month, was unjust and will not stand up when reviewed by the chairman of the ICC’s Code of Conduct Commission, Michael Beloff, QC
Samuels’ lawyers said even if Beloff upholds the ruling, they will file for a judicial review in the Antiguan courts, along with an injunction that would allow the batsman to return to the playing field while the matter is being considered.
