Fishing village in St Lucia declared disaster area

The fishing village of Dennery, on St Lucia's East Coast, has been declared a disaster zone.
This follows heavy overnight rains that left an estimated 100 houses under water.
No injuries were reported.
The Cabinet met in an emergency session yesterday and announced that a special task force has been appointed to deal with the situation.
