Digicel Premier League resumes

The 2010-2011 season of the Digicel Premier League resumes today following a two-week break because of the inclement weather and last Sunday’s friendly international between Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.



Defending champions Harbour View, who hold down seventh place in the standings, will be seeking to recover from an early season stumble that has left the club winless in its last three games.



The ‘Stars of the East’ will host ninth place Boys’ Town at the Harbour View Stadium in a late match, scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m.



Last season’s runners-up Tivoli Gardens, who lead the standings by virtue of goal difference, will travel to Drewsland to tackle Waterhouse in a 5 p.m. game.



Second place Portmore United will travel to Brancourt in Clarendon to face third place Sporting Central Academy at 3.30 p.m.



Also at 3.30p.m., Benfica will host Arnett Gardens at Drax Hall in St Ann and Reno and Village will face off at Frome in Westmoreland.



In the day’s other game St Georges will play Humble Lions at Lynch Park in Portland. That match is scheduled to start at 6.30 p.m.
