Portmore United lead Central Academy

Portmore United were leading Sporting Central Academy 1-0 in second half action in their Digicel Premier League match at Brancourt, Clarendon.
Steven Morrison handed Portmore United the lead in the 40th minute.
Portmore United lead the points’ table by virtue of goal difference over Waterhouse and Boys’ Town. The three teams are locked on 10 points.
Over at Drax Hall in St Ann, Benfica and Arnett Gardens were locked at 1-1 in the second half. Garfield Reid had given the home team the lead but Kirk Ramsay equalized for Arnett Gardens.
Over at Frome Sports Complex in Westmoreland, hosts Reno and Village United were also locked at 1-1 in the second half action.
Meanwhile, defending champions Harbour View, who hold down seventh place in the standings, will be seeking to recover from an early season stumble that has left the club winless in its last three games.
The ‘Stars of the East’ will host third place Boys’ Town at the Harbour View Stadium in a late match, scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m.
In the day’s other game St Georges will play Humble Lions at Lynch Park in Portland. That match is scheduled to start at 6:30.
