Barefoot Bandit indicted

The 19-year-old American teenager dubbed the Barefoot Bandit has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Seattle.



Colton Harris-Moore is alleged to have engaged in a two-year string of thefts from Washington state to the Caribbean.



On Wednesday, he was indicted on five charges including interstate transportation of a stolen aircraft and being a fugitive in possession of a firearm.



A self-taught pilot, Harris-Moore is suspected in more than 80 crimes across nine states and The Bahamas, where he was caught on July 10.



His exploits have prompted movie and book offers.
