Haiti protestor killed

United Nations peacekeepers in Haiti say they have shot and killed a protestor during violent demonstrations against a UN contingent blamed for bringing the cholera epidemic that has killed more than 900 people to the country.
Officials say the troops acted in self-defence when demonstrators threw stones and blocked roads near Haiti's second city, Cap Haitien.
Anti-UN violence also reportedly broke out in several other towns.
The UN says no evidence has been found to justify the accusation that Nepalese peacekeepers brought cholera to Haiti.
Presidential and legislative elections are scheduled for November 28, and UN representative in Haiti, Vincenzo Pugliese, says the cholera issue is being politicised.
