EU to donate funds to St. Lucia

The European Union (EU) is to donate thousands of dollars to St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines to help to restore health and sanitary conditions after the two countries were hit by Hurricane Tomas.
The EU is making available 200,000 euros or US$270,000 to help ensure safe water supply in health facilities, shelters and vulnerable households.
Other health related activities will also benefit from the funding expected to be managed by the Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO).
