EU delegation visits St Lucia

Representatives from the delegation of the European Commission (EU) to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean are visiting St Lucia to determine what further European Union emergency aid is necessary.



The EU is already providing $200,000 euros, as well as US$270,000 to restore health and sanitary conditions in storm-ravaged St Lucia and St Vincent and the Grenadines.



The head of the EU delegation, Bob Baldwin, says they’re also interested in providing relief assistance in the education sector.
