St Andrew edged Sharpes 1-0 yesterday in the Jamaica Hockey Federation’s Division One Women’s Premier League at the Mona Hockey Turf.
Sopia Cooper scored the goal.
As a result of the victory, St Andrew are now ahead in the points table with 16 points, two ahead of Tropics on 14. Sharpes hold down third place with 12 points.
In the men’s Premier League, Combined Colleges, led by a hat trick from Orville Hicks, registered its first victory beating Explorers 4-2.
