JBA, UTECH sign MOU

The Jamaica Basketball Association (JBA) and the University of Technology (UTECH) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will see the establishment of a basketball academy at the campus.
The two bodies signed the MOU yesterday at the Alfred Sangster Auditorium.
The signing of the MOU also means that a number of Sunday matches in next season’s National Basketball League (NBL) will be played at UTECH. The UTECH matches will be dubbed NBL Sundays.
Ajani Williams, president of the Jamaica Basketball Association says the partnership with UTECH is very significant, as the institution will be helping to advance the sports.
