Jamaican jockey Winston Thompson stayed in the hunt for his fifth Suffolk Downs jockeys\' title with two wins at the weekend in East Boston, Massachusetts.
He won the second and third races on the nine-race card to move closer to the lead, while boost his tally of wins in the two-month-old season to 28.
Thompson is in the Number Two spot, just a couple of wins behind leader David Amiss, who had a blank day on Sunday and remained on 30 wins.
In the second race over five-and-a-half furlongs, Thompson won with 5 to 1 bet Mysteriousness by one-and-a-quarter lengths.
Thompson, who was sidelined for five months last year with a fractured ankle, also used the favourite Indian Rush to win the third race for two year olds over four furlongs.
