Chinese official visits Caribbean

Vice head of the Communist Party of China Chen Fengxiang is to visit four Caribbean countries over the weekend.
Chinese officials say he left Beijing this morning for meetings in Suriname, Guyana, Barbados and Dominica.
A release from the international department of the party's central committee, said Chen was invited by the governing parties in the four countries.
They are the National Democratic Party of Suriname, the People's Progressive Party of Guyana, the Democratic Labour Party of Barbados and the Dominica Labour Party.
It has not been disclosed what will be on the agenda for discussion.
