JFF invites 26 players to prepare for Venezuela friendly

The Jamaica Football Federation has invited 26 players to begin preparation for the international friendly game against Venezuela at the Montego Bay Sports Complex on Friday, March 25.
The game will be the first for Jamaica’s Senior Reggae Boyz since winning the Digicel Caribbean Cup title in December. The four-day training camp will begin on Monday.
Among the players invited are five members of the successfully Under-17 team, which recently qualified for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup.
The Under-17 players are Odean Clarke, Omar Holness, Alvas Powell, Jason Wright and Richard Trench.
Meanwhile, coach Theodore Whitmore returns to the country today after spending three weeks in Brazil on a coaching apprenticeship aimed at expanding his coaching skills.
