Gibson Relays shifts into high gear

The National Stadium will stage its first track meet for 2011 today with the 35th running of the annual Gibson Relays, was set to get underway at 9:30 a.m.
The meet, which was originally scheduled to take place on February 26, is being staged in March for the first time because the resurfacing of the stadium track had taken longer than projected.
It will present high school athletes with their final preparations before the Boys and Girls’ Athletics Championships.
The meet has also attracted entries from overseas schools.
