Swann hits back at critics

Graeme Swann is hoping England can "shut up" the critics by rescuing their World Cup campaign against West Indies.



England know, after Bangladesh's anticipated victory over Holland in Chittagong yesterday, that they must beat the West Indies in their last Group-B match on Thursday to stand any chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals.



In fact, if they do complete their group campaign with a third victory from six attempts, England will be likely to progress after all to the knockout stages.



Defeat, though, would mean they could book their flight home two weeks early.



Swann was riled into a series of Twitter exchanges with disappointed supporters after England's shock three-wicket loss against Ireland in Bangalore 12 days ago.
