KC, JC face off

Kingston College (KC) will go in search of their second victory this afternoon when they face run-away leaders Jamaica College (JC), in a very tough Group Zone-B game in the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Jamaica Hockey Federation Under-19 hockey competition.
The match is scheduled to start at 3.30 p.m. and is one of three games at the Mona Hockey field.
KC hold down third in the standings on four points, eight behind the unbeaten JC.
The opening contest today will feature a Zone-A boys’ game between second place Tivoli Gardens and second-from-the-bottom St Andrew Technical High School at 1.30 p.m.
In the girls’ competition, fourth place Immaculate and last place Wolmer’s Girls will face off at 2.30 p.m.
Meanwhile, Excelsior High moved to second place in the girls’ standings after they were rewarded a 3-0 victory against Wolmer’s Girls yesterday.
Alpha Academy, led by two goals from Shanar White, blanked Campion College 3-0 to register their first victory for the season.
