National trials set for this weekend

Jamaica’s junior golfers will compete for 14 spots on the national team for the Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships when they contest the national trials today and tomorrow.
Today’s opening day will take place at the Caymanas Golf and Country Club with tomorrow’s final day slated for Constant Spring Golf Club.
Golfers will be vying for places in six categories --- Under-13 boys and girls, Under 15 boys and girls and Under-17 boys and girls.
The 2011 Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships will be played in Barbados during the first week of July.
