Jamaica takes charge in TCL Under 19
A six-wicket haul by pacer Gifton Wray has put Jamaica in charge against the Windward Islands on today’s second day of the third-round TCL Group West Indies Under-19 match at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.
At the lunch break, the Windward Islands, replying to Jamaica’s first innings total of 174 reached 74 for seven. The Windwards resumed this morning on four for one.
Wray has so far bagged six for 18.
Trinidad and Tobago, resuming this morning on 215 for five against the Leeward Islands, were bowled out for 289 on the stroke of lunch.
Adrian Barath top scored with 121 against the bowling of Tevin Osbourne five for 76 and Kenroy David four for 57.
In the other game, Barbados, resuming on 96 for two, reached 183 for four against Guyana at the lunch interval.
Kraigg Brathwaite is undefeated on 74. Herman Latcha has so far taken two for 45.
