Reggae Boyz, England face off

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz will continue their preparation for the upcoming CONCACAF Gold Cup Tournament in the United States when they face Central American team Venezuela tonight in a friendly international at the Montego Bay Sports Complex.



Kick-off time is 8 p.m.



The game will be the first international for the senior team in western Jamaica in many years.



President of the Jamaica Football Federation, Captain Horace Burrell says once the support is good, football fans in western Jamaica will witness other important matches.



While, Jamaica will be using the game to test their state of readiness ahead of an important tournament, Venezuela will be doing the same as the team is preparing for the upcoming COPA Americas Tournament, in which they are grouped with Brazil, Ecuador and Paraguay.



The game will be the first international friendly of the year for the Reggae Boyz and is one of two games inside three days.



The Reggae Boyz will depart for El Salvador tomorrow to oppose that country on Sunday.
