A new champion will be crowned as Papine High yesterday ended the four-year reign of Munro College at the semi-final stage of the ISSA/Jamaica Hockey Federation Under-19 schoolboy competition at the Mona field.
Papine High won the contest 3-2 and will play Jamaica College in the final on Monday. Jamaica College advanced courtesy of a 3-nil victory over St Andrew Technical High School in the second semi-final.
Meanwhile, Mona High edged Kingston College 2-1 in the playoff for seventh place.
