Jamaica take command against T&T

West Indies batsman Brendan Nash and Wavell Hinds have put Jamaica in a dominant position against hosts Trinidad and Tobago in their semi-final match of the Regional First Class Championship at the Sir Frank Worrell Ground.



Nash, who was unbeaten on 96 overnight, went on to score 207, while Hinds hit an undefeated 131 to lead Jamaica to 574 for seven at the close of today’s second day.



The Jamaicans resumed this morning on 251 for three.



Rayad Emrit and Amit Jaggernauth have so far taken two wickets apiece.



In the day’s other semi-final, Combined Campuses and Colleges, leading Windward Islands by 83 runs on first innings, reached 85 for three in their second innings at stumps. Scores in that game so far:- Combined Campuses and Colleges 256 and 85 for three; Windward Islands 173.
