Excelsior makes winning start to Hockey campaign

Excelsior High defeated Wolmers’ Girls 3-1 yesterday to get their campaign off to a winning start in the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Jamaica Hockey Federation Under-16 competition at the Mona turf.



As a result of the victory, Excelsior have joined Immaculate High as earlier leaders in Zone-A.



Over in Zone-B, Mona High edged Alpha Academy 2-1, while The Queens’ School beat Papine High 1-nil. Mona and The Queens School are locked atop the standings with three points each.



The competition continues on Monday.
