US: Storms kill seven

At least 7 people have been killed after severe storms swept through the US states of Arkansas and Oklahoma destroying dozens of homes and school buildings.



Officials said a tornado swept through the small town of Tushka, Oklahoma, killing two elderly sisters and injuring at least 25 people.



In Garland County, Arkansas, lightning knocked a tree into a house, killing a man and his baby daughter.



A six-year-old boy was killed by a falling tree in Bald Knob, Arkansas.



Meanwhile, the National Weather Service warned of more tornados and powerful thunderstorms over southern US states today.
