Bulls/Rockers win Basketball League

Port Royal Bulls and Arnett Gardens Rockers recorded victories in the KFC/National Basketball League last night at the National Stadium.
Port Royal Bulls, led by 13 points and 7 rebounds from Kenardo Wright, tame the Jamaica Defence Force 64 to 57.
Leighton Meeks 12 points and Paul Brown 11 points supported Wright.
JDF’s Raymond Francis scored a game high 22 points and eight rebounds. Dermaine Foster chipped in with 15 points and seven rebounds.
Arnett Gardens Rockers, with 20 points from Kwame Lawrence and 18 from Arnell Campbell, had a 65 to 53 victory over St Georges Slayers.
The League continues this evening with Runnin Rebels against Link Up All Stars at 7 p.m.
Montego Bay Boys Club Warriors outclassed Jaguar Youths 64 to 25 in the Western Basketball Association/Fruta/Oasis Purified Water Men’s league last night.
The game was played at the Montego Bay Cricket Club.
