Forbes banned for three months

Former captain of Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls, Simone Forbes, will miss the July 3 to 10 World Netball Championships in Singapore after she received a three-month ban for an Adverse Analytical Finding following an out-of-competition drug Test.
The ban, which takes effect from April 18, will end on July 18.
The Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission Disciplinary Panel, led by Kent Gamon, handed down the sentence on day two of the hearing yesterday.
Gamon says his panel, which also includes Juliet Cuthbert and Peter Charles, found that Forbes violated anti-doping regulation.
