Jamaica’s Under-20 footballers will begin their quest for a second appearance in a Youth World Cup later this today when they take on Puerto Rico in their first round CONCACAF qualifier in the Cayman Islands.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 5.30 p.m. and is the first of a double-header at the Truman Bodden Sport Complex.
In the other game, hosts Cayman Islands meet Bermuda at 7.30 p.m.
The Young Reggae Boyz will be without overseas-based striker Dever Orgill, who did not travel with the squad after failing to recover from an ankle injury.
After today’s opening encounter, the Young Reggae Boys will next face Bermuda on Friday, followed by the third and final game against the Cayman Islands on Sunday.
The team returns on Monday.
