Portland dethrone St Andrew

Portland gained their second hold on the Jamaica Teachers’ Association/Sagicor National Primary, All-Age and Junior High Schools Athletics Championship yesterday following a good performance on Friday, the final day.



Portland ended the two-day championship with a combined 374 points to dethrone two-time defending champions St Andrew by nine points. St Andrew finished on 365 points.



First-day leaders Kingston finished third with 202, while St Elizabeth 197 and St Catherine 169 completed the top five.
