UWP leader accused of financial improprieties

The leader of Dominica\'s opposition United Workers Party (UWP) Attorney-at-law, Earl Williams has been accused of financial improprieties.



Top party officials said the claims are being investigated, and they were serious enough to warrant a meeting of the party\'s executive next week.



Deputy leader Ron Green said the party leader would be issuing a statement to address the matter.



Mr. Green said the investigations are likely to have a negative impact on the party.
