DaCosta holds strong hand in feature race

The Jamaica Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame Stakes Trophy over 1200 metres is today’s feature race at Caymanas Park.
Six have been declared for the open allowance race and champion trainer Wayne DaCosta holds a strong hand with three of the horses.
DaCosta will saddle ante-post favourite SIR VON, LIFE IS JUS FOR LIVING and NEW KINGSTON, all reporting in good nick for this valuable feature race, sponsored by the Jamaica Racing Commission on its annual Prelude to Derby ‘Hall of Fame’ raceday.
The race will also feature the much-improved American filly DANCE SO SWEET from the camp of leading trainer Gary Subratie.
The 11-race card will also feature the annual Walkstacle for Charity over 200 metres on which betting will be conducted and the Ren Gonzalves Memorial Cup over 2 thousand metres.
