Vaz take the lead

Former champions Vaz Prep have surged into a slim lead going into today’s second day of the three-day Bigga/Jamaica Independent Schools Sports Association Inter-Prep Track and Field Championships at the National Stadium.



Vaz, who last won the title in 1999, moved from their overnight third place to first with 49 points, one over defending champions Hydel, who led after the first day. Hydel are on 48 points.



The top two are followed by Mona and Quest on 33, Wolmer’s 18, Ardenne 17, Our Lady of the Angels 16, Lannaman’s 12 and Meadowbrook 9.
