Three Jamaicans in West Indies Test squad

The West Indies selectors have named three Jamaicans in a 13-man squad for the first Test against India, which starts next Monday at Sabina Park in Kingston.
The Jamaicans are Marlon Samuels, wicketkeeper Carlton Baugh and Brendan Nash, who remain as vice captain of the Test team.
As expected there was no place for explosive Jamaican opener Chris Gayle, who is currently embroiled in a spat with the West Indies Cricket Board over controversial comments he made during a radio interview in April.
The squad, announced late yesterday, will be captained by Darren Sammy and also includes opener Adrian Barath, who returned from a long injury layoff to play in the final One Day International on Thursday at Sabina Park.
The other members of the squad are Devendra Bishoo, Darren Bravo, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Fidel Edwards, Ravi Rampaul, Kemar Roach, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Lendl Simmons.
