Young Reggae Boyz eliminated from World Cup

Jamaica were eliminated from 2011 FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Mexico at the group stage following a 1-all draw against France in Monterrey yesterday.
Midfielder Andre Lewis gave the young Reggae Boyz the lead in the ninth minute, but France equalised through Abdallah Yaisien in the 58th minute.
Japan finished top of the group with seven points following a 3-1 victory over Argentina.
They advanced to the Round of 16 along with France, who finished second with five points. Argentina finished in third spot with three points, while Jamaica ended at the bottom with a point.
