Sri Lanka crush England

Stuart Broad suffered a crushing nine-wicket defeat to Sri Lanka in his first game in charge of England in the one-off Twenty20 match at Bristol today.
Put into bat, the hosts compiled 136 for nine with Eoin Morgan 47 and Kevin Pietersen 41 scoring most runs.
Suranga Lakmal, Lasith Malinga and Sanath Jayasuriya picking up two wickets apiece.
Mahela Jayawardene 72 and Kumar Sangakkara 43 then hammered England attack as the tourists cruised home, ending on 137 for one off 17 point 2 overs.
The two teams will now face off in the opening One Day International on Tuesday at the Oval.
