The British Foreign Office has changed its advisory for people travelling to Antigua and Barbuda.

The change follows the shooting death of a British tourist on Sunday.

Her husband was wounded and is critically ill in hospital.

The advisory warns tourists to take sensible precautions, be vigilant at all times and to avoid isolated areas after dark.

It also advises not to carry large amounts of cash or jewellery.

Some travel writers have been telling British media that tourists should not put off travelling to Antigua.
