Former World and Commonwealth 100-metre champion Kim Collins will lead a four-member St.Kitts and Nevis team to the Olympic Games in Beijing starting next weekend.
Speculation was high in St. Kitts and Nevis that Collins would not have been part of the team, because he missed the National Championships last month.
The June 21 to 22 National Championships has been labelled mandatory for all athletes aspiring the represent the Twin-island Federation in the Beijing Olympics.
Collins participated in his first Olympics in Atlanta in 1996.
The rest of the team includes sprinters Meritzer Williams, Virgil Hodge and quarter miler Tiandra Pontee.
