Inter Milan deny receiving offer for Wesley Sneijder
Inter Milan technical director Marco Branca has insisted the Italian club has not received any official offers for Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder.
Premier League champions, Manchester United, have been strongly linked to a move for the 27-year-old, but Inter said he is not available.
In early June, Sneijder told Inter’s website that he was very happy at the club.
Yet speculation over his future continues to persist, and newspaper reports today claimed that Manchester United were close to sealing a £35 million deal for the playmaker to move to Old Trafford.
Branca, however, insisted that no official offers have been received, and also denied reports in the Italian press that a meeting between the agent of Sneijder and his current club was scheduled this week.
