Usain bolt to run in Monaco today

World 100 and 200-metre record-holder Usain Bolt continues his preparation for the August 27 to September 4 World Championships today when he competes at the Monaco Diamond League.
Bolt is among seven Jamaicans down to compete.
He will run in the men’s 100 metres at 2:40 pm Jamaica time. The race also includes two other Jamaicans – Michael Frater and Nesta Carter.
It will be Bolt’s first 100-metre race since he easily beat his Jamaican compatriot Steve Mulling on May 31 at the Golden Spike meeting in the Czech Republic.
Olympic and World 100-metre silver medallist, Kerron Stewart of Jamaica will face off with the American pair of Carmelita Jeter and Allyson Felix in the women’s 200 metres. That race is scheduled to start at 1:45 pm.
Earlier, Rosemarie Whyte, Novlene Williams-Mills and Davita Prendergast will contest the women’s 400 metres where they will face off with Amantle Montsho of Botswana.
