Jamaica in search of volleyball victory

Hosts Jamaica will go in search of their first victory at the eighth Caribbean Junior Volleyball Championships this afternoon when they play the Bahamas at the University of Technology.
The match is scheduled to serve off at 5 pm.
The host country suffered its second straight defeat last night by going down 3 games to nil to Curacao.
The Jamaicans lost the contest 25-17, 25-21, 27-25 to give Curacao their second straight victory.
Jamaica’s Ryck Webb and Quinten Athony of Curacao scored 21 points each in the match.
On Saturday’s opening day, Jamaica lost 25-18, 25-15, 27-25 to defending champions Guadeloupe; while Curacao took care of The Bahamas 25-18, 25-17, 25-19.
