Jamaica’s Under-23 squad suffered a 1-nil defeat to Premiership club Highgate Football Club yesterday in its final warm up game for the Olympic qualifiers in Suriname next month.
The match was played at Grays Inn in St Mary and was the third game for the young Reggae Boyz in a week.
Following a 1-all draw against a Manchester High School team at Brooks Park in Manchester, Jamaica blanked Premiership team Seba United 2-nil at Jarrett Park in Montego Bay on Sunday.
The young Reggae Boyz are scheduled to depart Monday for Suriname.
They will open their campaign against St Vincent and the Grenadines on August 3, followed by matches against the Cayman Islands on August 5 and host nation Suriname on August 7.
